ELECTION RESULTS

As of 9:09 PM, with 54 of 56 precincts reporting:

County Commissioner Dist 3

MICHAEL LARGENT 607
JIM WHITE 375
HARMON SMITH 358
JEANNINE HENLEY LARKIN 271

State Representative District 9 Position 1

JOE SCHMICK 1,351
TEDD NEALEY 838
STEVE HAILEY 628
GLEN R. STOCKWELL 161

There are doubtlessly many more ballots that were postmarked today that will need to be counted later.

The votes above for State Representative only include Whitman County. The 9th District encompasses all or part of six counties.

The combined results for 9th District State Representative Position #1 are as follows as of 9:14 PM:

Steve Hailey 2486 38.7167%
Tedd Nealey 1398 21.7723%
Joe Schmick 1387 21.6010%
Glen R. Stockwell 1150 17.9100%

Interestingly, the Whitman County ballots do not appear to be counted on this total yet. Joe Schmick carried Whitman County handily, but the difference as of yet is not enough to counter Steve Hailey's 1100 vote lead.

Also, as of 9:19 PM:
