When the MSM Slips

I was reading through an AP story this evening when I came across a humble admission on their part...

From the article, Army to expand recruiting incentives:
"Beyond the Iraq war, the military says other factors have affected its ability to recruit. More high school graduates are going to college, and the economy is strong, providing lots of civilian jobs. At the same time, only three of 10 people between 17 and 24 fully meet the military's standards." [emphasis added]

No, NO! WAIT! THE ECONOMY SUCKS! IT'S SO TERRIBLE, REMEMBER?! NO ONE CAN AFFORD COLLEGE ANY MORE! THIS IS ALL WRONG! (other people's) MONEY HAS TO BE THROWN AT THIS STUFF!

What will the Breck Girl do now (or the rest of the DNC, for that matter)?
