The PARD website hasn't been updated in 6 months. Yesterday afternoon at 3;38 PM, the "Contacts" page was edited to remove the names of Nella Van Dyke, Cynthia Hosick, Chistopher Lupke, Tina Vona-Pergola, Bob Grunewald, Dorothy Swanson, and Jose Alamillo. The current version of the page is here. The Google cached version is here.
Okay, Vona-Pergola has been gone for a couple of years and Alamillo is on sabbatical. But diehards like Lu Laoshi, Citizen Hosick, and Bob "Ass End of Wal-Mart" Grunewald quitting PARD? Seems hard to believe. But who knows? The end is in sight and maybe the rats are jumping off the ship. After all, PARD is going to be financially liable for the city and Wal-Mart's legal expenses when this appeal boondoggle is all said and done.
Or maybe it's the fact that I revealed Shuxin Lupke's identity at 12:35 PM yesterday and PARD is scrambling to cover it up. C'mon. Lupke's name has been associated with PARD in the media for the last three years, not to mention Google caches and the Wayback Machine . It's way too late to put that horse back in the barn.

I think it must be difficult for PARD to find members when a rather large legal expense is part of the dues of membership. I seriously doubt any of them have had a change of heart. They are the biggest hypocrites of all. See, it's okay to cost you, me and Pullman money. They bail out when it starts costing them money. Even though I disagree with core members of PARD on every aspect of life, at least the remaining members are willing to see it through. The rest are sitting back, waiting for their next cause, breathlessly getting ready for their next relevancy.
I saw Don Orlich's friendly, grandfatherly letter in today's Daily News. NOT! So much for his support of local, small business owners. Is he so devoid of common courtesy and sense of community that he must label people that he disagrees with as SLOP?
