Nancy Pelosi's Intelligence

Nancy Pelosi says that the latest John McCain advertisement "insults our intelligence." Here's how intelligent Nancy Pelosi is.

“I believe in natural gas as a clean, cheap alternative to fossil fuels,” she said at one point. Natural gas “is cheap, abundant and clean compared to fossil fuels,” she said at another.

Ahem.

Nancy Pelosi is fortunate that she's not a contestant in the teenaged Miss America contest.

And here's what Pelosi thinks of the American voter's intelligence:

Pelosi’s investment in
[T. Boone Pickens'] Clean Energy – between $50,000 and $100,000 – is a tiny fraction of the speaker’s assets, as she pointed out on Sunday. “That’s not the point,” she added. “I’m investing in something I believe in.”

It's only a tiny fraction of her investments because she bought the Pickens stock when it was an IPO. If she can cram her energy policy through Congress, she and Pickens stand to make a fortune, at the expense of the average citizen. Of course she believes in it, that's why she has to pass laws in order to force the public to buy the product.

To be fair to Nancy, she may have been referring to what comes out of her own mouth when she used the term, "natural gas."

And she's right about one thing - what she spouts sure is cheap, and certainly abundant. Not sure about the "clean" part though.
