Fritz Hughes Recovering From Heart Surgery

From today's Moscow-Pullman Daily News:

Fritz Hughes is doing well after heart surgery Tuesday and is expected to return home today. This according to Pullman Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tammy Lewis, who told the INKster on Wednesday that although she hasn't seen him yet, reports indicated the five-way bypass in Spokane went "very well" and his heart is strong.

Our prayers and best wishes go out to Fritz. I just saw him a couple of months ago at the Dino Rossi event at SEL and he was looking fine and looking forward to retirement. Fritz is one of the truly great men in Pullman and we need him around a lot longer.
