"A More Conservative Democrat" Redux

Caitlin "Carpetbagger" Ross, Democratic candidate for 9th District State Representative, has described herself as "more conservative Democrat than some of her fellow party members."

That strains credulity a bit when you read that liberal millionaire Dal LaMagna has bankrolled over a quarter of her campaign.

You see, LaMagna, who is also the co-chair of Maria Cantwell's Senate campaign, is part of the Code Pink Middle East Peace Delegation, along with "peace mom" Cindy Sheehan and moldy hippie Tom Hayden.

Are these the "fellow party members" Ross is comparing herself with? I guess if you haven't hobnobbed with Hugo Chavez, then that makes you a "more conservative" Democrat.

While you're at the site, be sure to check out the fasting for peace recipes so you can join in with Mother Sheehan, Dick Gregory, Willie Nelson, Danny Glover, Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn and Ed Asner.

Here is a recipe for Fasting Cookies:

INGREDIENTS
2 cups air
1 teaspoon air
1 teaspoon nothing
1 cup unsalted air
1 1/2 cups nothing
1/3 cup nothing
1 nothing
1 teaspoon nothing
2 cups semisweet air

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (save energy, we will not heat the oven)

Sift together the air, nothing and air, set aside. In a medium bowl, cream together the nothing and nothing. Stir in the air. Then fold in the air and nothing.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the non-heathed oven.

Enjoy!
