Camera Shy, Caitlin?

The State of Washington Voters' Pamphlet has arrived. Every candidate listed for office within has a picture listed except for Democratic 9th District State Representative candidate Caitlin "Carpetbagger" Ross.

That seems a bit odd, as her Public Disclosure Commission filings report $500 spent on photographs. There's this picture on the Spokane Democrats website. There are a number of professional looking pics on her website, like this one, the one in a wheatfield and my personal favorite, the very large picture of Ross with Senator Cantdowell.

Perhaps Caitlin is embarassed of her age. Certainly not in the pages of the Daily Evergreen or the Moscow-Pullman Daily News, but perhaps she is worried about reaction in the rest of the 9th District outside of Pullman.

It does seem that Caitlin is running to pad her resume. She doesn't care enough about District 9 to even submit a picture, but she sure is eager to take in those Democrat dollars! The hit and flit Dem's are at it again.

I came home from a hunting trip on the west side and found my voter pamphlet waiting for me. I, too, noted that Ms. Carpetbagger didn't have a photo submitted with her profile.

My thoughts were roughly the same as yours: she left her photo out because it would have been blatantly obvious what her age, and therefore her experience, are.

Not that it matters anyway. With screamer quotes like the ones you've put up in subsequent postings from the Tribune, there's nothing a photo, or a lack of one, could do for her anyway.
