Teaching kids about taxes via Halloween

I love this video

I showed this video to a friend and he did the same thing to his son after doing the "power trick-or-treating". His son was in tears, he gave back the candy and his son learned a lesson about taxes.
I remember seeing this in 2000 at the Libertarian Party website. I did vote for Harry Browne in 2000. I wished I taped his 2000 political commercials, they played them usually very late at night and they were quite funny. The best one in my opinion was the "Rosemary's Baby" commercial. I would have to give second place to his commercial about demolishing the IRS building and selling chunks of it to pay off the debt. Sadly, Browne passed away last year.

Just wanted to add that I am no longer a Libertarian. I do carry a lot of the Libertarian philosophy on small government and the elimination of the income tax or going to a flat tax. But, I strongly disagree with the Libertarians over their pro-legalization of drugs.

Mr. Mechanic -

I pulled up this post I made to my blog way back when after I read your words here. I'm about ready to kick the term "libertarian" to the curb in my life, too, but for a different reason: it is an identity that is increasingly being taken over by socialists trying to hide themselves under new coats.

Here's my piece:
