The Hypocrisy Of It All

There was a protest on campus Monday in connection with "National Day of Action for Immigrant Justice." On hand (at least based on photos from yesterday's Moscow-Pullman Daily News) were Jose Alamillo (left) and Don Orlich (above, under the blue umbrella) of PARD.


Let's review some of PARD's arguments against Wal-Mart, shall we?:

Wal-Mart leads to the intrusion of "undesirable social classes" who commit crimes.

Wal-Mart engages in unethical business practices, such as the hiring of illegal aliens.

Low-paid Wal-Mart employees are a drain on taxpayer-funded social services such as Medicaid.

So, if Wal-Mart does it, that's bad. If illegal immigrants do it, that's good. It all makes sense to me now.
