"Follow the money"

- Deep Throat, All the President's Men
I found a site that Herr Barenjager should appreciate. It has visual maps that indicate direct affiliations between various left-wing, anti-war groups, funders, and individuals.

To quote form the site:
This site is a "Guide to the Political Left." It identifies the individuals and organizations that make up the left and also the institutions that fund and sustain it; it maps the paths through which the left exerts its influence on the larger body politic; it defines the left's (often hidden) programmatic agendas and it provides an understanding of its history and ideas.
...

The disingenuous tradition of the political left has continued into the present. In the 1960s, the radical organizers of the mass anti-war demonstrations pretended that their only interest was to "Bring the Troops Home," when in fact their agendas embraced a radical menu that was anti-capitalist and welcomed a Communist victory. In the campaign against the war in Iraq, a similar pattern emerged, as the information provided in this database clearly demonstrates
Although this site focuses on the political left as it applies to the anti-war and environmentalist movement, the same principles apply to the Wal-Mart opposition as well. It would be interesting to draw similar visual maps to learn their true agenda (I pretty sure we all know what that is).

In the biz we call that a "linkage diagram" and it's really a shame there is no practical way to get it in front of all Americans. Then, perhaps a few eyes would open.

The classified version is an even better read. My suspicion is that we would experience a true 1776 type revolution if all available information were divulged in a way the public could easily understand it. It isn't classified because of what we know and how we found it out. It's classified because of who we know things about (my opinion, not the party line).
