BREAKING NEWS: PARD LOSES APPEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hot off the press. The State of Washington Division III Court of Appeals has just issued the following decision in the case of Pullman Alliance for Responsible Development v. CLC Associates of Spokane Valley, City of Pullman, et. al.:
We conclude the examiner did not err under the SEPA standards in upholding the DNS.

The superior court's order upholding the examiner's decisions as to both the site plan permit approval and the DNS is affirmed.
Much more later.

Attention Wal-Mart shoppers, Pullman store will soon be open.

Looks like the judges get their paychecks.

In other news, PARD has bought land in Guiana taking another go at Jonestown and Kool-Aid stocks soar. Loopy Lupke was unavailable for comment.

Tom, you'll have to revise your "Pullman Held Hostage" counter. We are free at last! I would like to see PARD's final cost tally. The figure should be in the several millions by now.

Cool Beans...and who's to say that after WalMart gets built that other retailers will not follow ???

Walmart may set a precedent for others to follow eh!!

Based on previous events, I'm not quite ready to get rid of the counter and tally up a final total of PARD's damages yet, but it looks good. I'm going to talk to Wal-Mart and urge them to move ahead with construction plans immediately, regardless of any threatened appeals. And TV Reed on LMTribune.com is referring to "other things besides legal options," whatever that means.

Probably laying down in front of the earth moving equipment, to which I say, the gas pedal is on the right!

Great news! As a patron of the Super Walmart I now have access to in College Place (Walla Walla and College Place pretty much run together into one city), I can tell you that you'll love what's in store for you!

So when is the party? I'll drive back for it. :)

Hopefully, "other things besides legal options," means more duct tape over their mouths.

Finally! Great news!

I honestly cannot understand why on earth it took so long for the court to make this ruling.

PARD was so obviously out of bounds on this one that it was absurd.

I only hope folks remember these people and what they have cost our community in lost revenue and economic prosperity.

"Other things besides legal options?" Does that mean illegal options? Are they going to fart in our general direction?

Spank you very much, PARD!

Until they start yelling "fechez la vache!" I wouldn't be too worried. :P
