Trailing Republican Dino Rossi by 10 points in a gubernatorial rematch, Governor pro tem Chris Gregoire seems determined to serve just one term.
Ms. Gregoire pledged her support yesterday to help defeat several initiatives that are heavily favored by voters in Eastern Washington, including I-933, the Property Fairness Initiative, and I-920 which would repeal the death tax.
She had better hope the felons and the dead in Western Washington vote again in 2008.
