So What Does the City Think of PARD's Appeal?

Not very much apparently. According to today's Daily News:

Bishop Boulevard is slated to be repaved in two spots in anticipation of development along the road, said Mark Workman, the city’s public works director. Work starts June 12 between Main Street and Professional Mall Boulevard and from the east end of the Ridge Pointe retirement community to Fairmount Road.

“Sections of Bishop are in poor condition,” Workman said. “We’ve done some short-term repairs just to hold it together.”

The time has come for a more permanent solution for the boulevard because new commercial development has sprung up over the past year and more is expected, Workman said. The road needs to be able to handle the traffic from customers flocking to what is rapidly becoming a strong commercial district.
Hmmm, what could be Workman be referring to?

Wal-Mart isn't sweating PARD's appeal very much either, as it already purchased the land on Bishop Boulevard.

I hope Mr. Workman will fix the curve just up hill from Crimson & Gray. It's slopped out on that turn, it needs to 'super' the oppsite direction. With the increased traffic we will accidents when we have wet or icy roads.
