“The fact that it’s an old house doesn’t mean it has historical significance.”As reported in today’s Moscow-Pullman Daily News, attorney Brian McGinn challenged the Pullman Planning Commission’s finding that a 100-year-old house on College Hill was historically significant. McGinn told the City Council last night that the house is not on the National Register of Historic Places.
If McGinn’s name sounds familiar, that’s because he is the attorney representing PARD in their appeals challenging construction of a Wal-Mart Supercenter in Pullman.
To have a little fun, take the word “house” above and replace it with “cemetery”. It would still be just as true.
