Palouse Ridge, a revitalization and expansion of the old nine-hole course at Washington State University, is now out for construction bids. The [Tacoma-based golf course architect John] Harbottle design is slated to break ground in June of this year and will be a daily-fee facility. Offering tees ranging from 5,200 to 7,300 yards, the layout is being built with the intent of hosting Pac-10 and NCAA championships.HT: April Coggins
