TV ALERT: First Republican Presidential Debate This Afternoon

The first debate between 10 Republican presidential candidates will be held this afternoon at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, CA.

Confirmed participants will be: Sam Brownback, Jim Gilmore, Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, Duncan Hunter, John McCain, Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, Tom Tancredo and Tommy Thompson.

The debate will run from 5:00 to 6:30 PM PDT and be aired on MSNBC. I will post a new poll shortly afterwards so that you can cast your vote on who you thought won the debate.

Will there be a webcast?

I should rethink this whole not having a TV thing.

You're in luck Paul. The debate will stream live on MSNBC.com and politico.com

I only caught the first thirty minutes of it. I thought the debate sucked. They focused too much on past issues of the Bush administration and arm-chair quaterbacking of the war. Some of the questions posed were just plain stupid (e.g. would you change the Constitution for Arnold to become president). Too much evoking of Ronald Reagan.
I never trusted Guiliani as a Republican, McCain was a good speaker but that is what he is, but the guy that impressed me as a candidate is Duncan Hunter. He answered his questions as a true conservative. I shall do more reading of his issues.
