In Washington State, the U.S. Senate race remains one of the closest in the country. The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters in the state shows Republican challenger Dino Rossi attracting 48% of the vote while Democratic Senator Patty Murray earns support from 46%. Three percent (3%) prefer a different candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided.
Earlier this month, Murray had a slight edge. However, the race has been very close all along.

I think I may have convinced my mother to not vote for Murray this time around and to vote for Dino instead. I've been pointing out to my mom that Murray is all to happy to keep voting for more and more spending despite our crushing national debt. My mom has struggled with debt more than once in her life, so it seems that the message is getting through.
Well.... perhaps they are misinformed or misunderstand but conservatives should all agree that two months is a long time and being cocky in messaging could fritter away momentum. This is the year to overcome solid blue.
