Bette Midler's in trouble for illegally chopping down 230 trees on her property in Hawaii.

In truth, the libertarian in me wonders why it's the Hawaiian government's business whether or not Bette Midler or anyone else cuts down trees on their own property. But, I'm entertained that Bette Midler is exposed as a hypocrite whose bank account puts her above the laws that she wants imposed on all the rest of us little people.
